The Green Mystery Guest Online Course is a digital product based on video lessons that serves to provide the skills to perform quality analyses of accommodation facilities by integrating elements of environmental sustainability and communication that encourages green attitudes and behaviors.
The Online Course offers an overview of the methods and techniques to be applied to identify the elements of sustainability and optimize the functioning of accommodation facilities in each of the reference areas (food, supplies, communication to customers, etc.), therefore following a holistic approach. The Online Course is therefore grouped into three video modules produced by the three participating organizations, allocated according to their specific expertise and integrated on the basis of the research conducted during the “Checklist for Green Mystery Guests” activity which will be further integrated by an approach based on micro credentials for its future validation during the development of this concept
Module 1 – Igor Vitale International srl: identifying sustainable food and beverage indicators in accommodation facilities and menus engineering applied to promote environmental sustainability in catering services
Module 2 – Travels Hospitality Events Management: how to use supplies and produce sustainable events, strategies,
methods and indicators to observe
Module 3 – Poderìo Training & Research: How to motivate and communicate with customers to promote sustainable
attitudes and behaviors, indicators of communication strategies for sustainability
The three modules will be included in a MOOC platform programmed by the partners and integrated with numerous features:
multilingual approach (English, Romanian, Italian, Spanish), issuing of certificates, evaluation tests (1 per module), social connections, log-in module, integrated e-mail automation system to motivate to complete the course
